GLET AI

How GLET AI works

GLET AI is the optional coach inside K12 Cyber Forward. It answers questions about your district's cybersecurity, explains what to do next and why, shows you where things are in the portal, and can prepare routine changes for you to confirm.

What it can do

Ask about your status

"What's our score?", "What's overdue?", "When does our insurance renew?" Answers use the same pages you can already open, and link to them.

Get guidance

"What should we fix first, and why?" GLET AI weighs your ratings, insurance conditions and deadlines, and grounds advice in the Cybersecurity Rubric 2.0 and approved public guidance from CISA, NIST and Georgia agencies.

Walk me through it

Step-by-step guidance on the real page: the coach highlights each control and you do the clicking.

Do it for me

GLET AI can prepare changes such as an action item, a reminder or a draft board summary. You see exactly what will change, confirm it, and can often undo it.

What information it uses

  • GLET AI reads your district's information through the same pages and permissions you have. It cannot see another district's records or anything your role cannot open.
  • Many questions are answered by the portal itself, with no AI model involved.
  • When an AI answer is needed, the question and the minimum information needed — scores, counts, statuses, titles and dates — go to our AI provider, Anthropic. Email addresses, phone numbers and the names of people in your district are removed first.
  • Under the provider's commercial terms, it does not use this information to train its models. It may keep requests for a limited time for safety and abuse monitoring.
  • Please don't type student records, passwords or personal contact details into GLET AI.

What it won't do

  • Give legal advice or decide whether something is covered by insurance. It explains and points you to your carrier, broker or counsel.
  • Change ratings or assessment answers.
  • Change anyone's role or permissions, delete records or send email for you.
  • Answer questions outside school cybersecurity and this portal.

Checking its answers

GLET AI can be wrong. Every answer links to the page or source it used, so you can check it. Use the thumbs up or down on an answer to tell the program team what worked; if your district allows it, the team reviews conversations to improve answers.

Your controls

  • District administrators: turn GLET AI on or off, choose roles, choose which changes it may prepare, set how long conversations are kept (30 to 90 days) and decide whether the program team may review them.
  • Everyone: turn GLET AI off for your account, turn off page tips, and delete your conversation history at any time.
